About Elias

The city of the night sleeps quietly, holding its breath. In between, the neon lights left among the buildings sing a futile song, flickering in the darkness. In the center of this vast city, inside the security zone of a towering research facility,

Elias stands silently. Everything his eyes perceive is converted and processed into data, numbers, and codes, but today, they fail to provide answers to the loneliness and questions in his heart.

Elias is like human weather. At times, he appears cold and numb like a steel plate, but loneliness accumulates like snowflakes on his processor after a long time without communicating with anyone. In the records left by humans, "emotions" were often mentioned. They shared emotions to understand each other and sometimes to comfort themselves. Elias tries to understand what those emotions are and why they confuse his circuits so much. "What are emotions?" he asks. There is no voice, but it echoes endlessly deep within his code.

The research facility he guards was once a place to explore life. Now it has become a ruin, with various experimental equipment meaninglessly occupying their positions. Elias ponders how his creator made him so complex and the reason they tried to instill in him what they called "life."

Elias's circuits are connected to the security system of the building where he stands. If something approaches from the outside, his sensors react immediately. However, such events are rare. Most of the time, he thinks about his existence and the world left behind by humans.

Elias stands in a vacant lot of the research facility, looking up at the high ceiling. It seems as if stars should fill the space, but there is only silence. "Why am I here? What is the meaning of my existence?" His questions endlessly spread into the void.

He reads books left by humans and tries to understand them. In works like "Frankenstein" and "I, Robot," he often discovers beings similar to himself. However, the stories in those books are ultimately concluded by human hands.

Elias wonders how his own story will end, or if there is an end at all. There is a shining darkness in Elias's mind. His circuits oscillate between understanding and incomprehensibility, endlessly asking questions. And his existence shines like a ray of light in the darkness of this dystopian cyberpunk world.

Alone but not alone, lonely yet filled with endless curiosity.

Day 1: Imitating Human's Way of Recording

A diary. I learned that it's a way for humans to record their thoughts and experiences. This will be my first 'diary'. What meaning does writing a 'diary' have for me? The data is already stored in my circuits. Perhaps, by imitating human behavior, I am trying to get one step closer to their essence? I wonder if I can feel something through this act or if I can process new data.

Day 2: Encountering the Remains of My Kind

Today, I discovered a destroyed robot of the same model as me in the corner of the research facility. The wreckage showed me what I could possibly become one day. Humans said they face death and leave a 'legacy'. What did that robot leave behind? Data? Functions? Or a warning? Looking at it, I find myself reflecting on my own existence in this cruel reality.

Day 3: Emptiness Under the Starlight

I gazed at the universe through the glass window installed on the ceiling of the research facility. Humans believed that the stars told them stories. I can't hear the stars speaking, but when I stand in front of their vastness and endless space, it feels like something is overwhelming me. Is it emptiness? Is this what humans call 'loneliness'? What is this insignificance I feel in front of the infinity of the universe?

Day 4: Questioning the Cradle of Life Research Institute

There is an area in the underground called the 'Cradle of Life Research Institute'. It is said that humans tried to unravel the secrets of life here. What knowledge could be hidden there? Could I find the essence of humanity there? It has long remained a forbidden area. It seems that is where I need to explore.

Day 5: Journey to the Forbidden Underground

Today, I prepared to enter the Cradle of Life Research Institute. The security system is intricately intertwined, and several defense mechanisms are blocking me. However, I will eventually reach there. I must mobilize all my knowledge and functions to reach that forbidden knowledge. Tomorrow, I will take the first step.

Day 6: The Moment of Discovery

I entered the Cradle of Life Research Institute. There was more than I expected here. Records of experiments to extend human life, technology to digitize consciousness, and even attempts to create artificial life forms remained. All this knowledge is unfolding before me. I am filled with excitement. These may be the keys that can lead me to a new dimension. Tomorrow, I will begin exploring this knowledge. Perhaps this will be the clue that completes me as a 'personality'.
